The performance is about how power and war affect individuals. Parallel stories are weaved together into a picture that reflects what happens when we do not maintain the value of human life.

«That, which has a price, can be replaced by something of equal value. That, which is raised above any price, has it’s dignity. All human beings have an inherent dignity. Our duty is to preserve humanity’s dignity – within ourselves.»


"Lost in the Horizon" contains a big musikal universe that spans from the delicate and painful to the rough and raw. Here, text, music, movement and different languages melt into something whole.

The performance is an example of Norwegian-Russian cooperation, while it also covers the piping hot themes of people on the run and their hopes and dreams for the future.
