New performance «Lost in the horizon»

At the moment, Samovarteateret is producing the performance «Lost in the horizon» – an international production with artists and staff from Norway, Russia, Lithuania and Finland.

In «Lost in the horizon» we have been inspired by borders. According to the UN, today a quarter billion people are moving across borders in search of a better future. At the same time, new walls and border zones are created. Closed borders. Strictly protected borders. What does borders do to us as human beings? How does the borders affect our horizon, our dreams and our life?

The performance is a cooperation between Samovarteateret, The Karelian National Theatre and The Karelian Puppet Theatre in Petrozavodsk, Russia.

It premieres on the National theatre in Petrozavodsk, Saturday, June 23rd 2018!

Premiere in Kirkenes and Norway will follow!
